Does anyone play this? Is it worth going pro and paying 5 bucks a season? Is it any fun?

Let me know how it goes, guys
I really want to GM the Islanders in a sim league, and am willing to pay the money, but just want to know if it is worth it :)

gee, we have a Bruins, Isles, and Devils player... that's a good core to start with.

Hey guys, I do play simhl. League 1 and 5. Their are 10 different leagues you can join. Some have more Gms than others. I have enjoyed it and would say it's well worth it. Not all teams cost $5, some are more, some are less, depending on their payroll and how far they are into the season. You do have to pay the cost each season. I recommend that you take a free farm team. Get the hang of setting your lines, resting your players, and learning about all the things you can do on the site. When your ready for more, then take on the pro team. In league 1 that I play in there are only 5 teams left. In league 5 their are only 9 Gms. I honestly enjoy league 5 more because it's a up and coming league in my opinion. Where league 1 has been established for some time now. Of the teams you guys were interested in running. League 5 has the Bruins, Blackhawks and Islanders still available. You can change teams, If a team in league 5 isn't what you want, then go see what they are like in another league. While you run a free farm team is the best time to switch leagues to see what else is out there. Another thing I recommend is reading the Forum. Lots of good advice there.
