Does anyone play it? If so, how is it? It kind of looks like a good simulation game for me, who is looking for a political game

Some CAN be. I remember back in the day, messing around with a mega-detailed presidential simulation. The bloody things used an older version of the actual CIA Factbook, for Chrissakes! I kept being assassinated, though...typically because I was younger, had no patience, and would eventually just loose the nukes, or basically declare economic warfare against someone. It did appear to be a pretty solid game, though. I think it was called...Shadow Government...Shadow President...something along those lines?

Shadow President (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FShadow_President&ei=kXV6SM3PAoH2sAO_jMSADw&usg=AFQjCNFYGoZfvYRh7JB5cF6bMzg_fDterQ&sig2=8lmUbaH-0dr3HSLhtzeb4w).
I loved that game. :)

I tried Superpower (I think that's what it was called) but it was so, unwieldy I just got sick of it and gave it away.

Back in the day, I played Balance of Power: 1990 Edition. I humiliated the Russians so badly in one game that even China abandoned Communism!

heh
Played both. I agree about Superpower. Same with Shadow President and Balance of Power really. I still had tons of fun playing those games, and I'd really love it if someone would make another one.

FYI: I got D2. Interesting, and it is fun... there are a few CTD bugs though. It might be worth waiting for a bit.
