lineup problems PLEASE HELP

Here is the issue ...

I set my lineup

I choose who is playing where and where in the order they will bat

When a game is completed I look at the box score

Here is where the problem occurs ...

The lineup can be completely different. Players are in the wrong defensive positions (many times in positions that they really shouldnt be in). Also the batting order is out of wack.

How can I make it so that no matter what, my choice for order and defensive positioning is kept intact ... and not altered whatsoever ?

I am aware of the different lineups for lefties and righties.
I have adjusted my stratagies so there are no substitutions.

Why would BBM let me set the order if the comp is just going to change it.

I don't want to just be the GM, i want to be the coach as well and when changes are made that screw up my team (like putting first basemen in the outfield and letting them bat leadoff, obviously this hurts my chances of winning) i dont even have control over my lineup or defense.

please help

i just got BBM09 and have not tried a new season yet ... was hoping someone could clear this up before i embark on a new career.

Oh and i forgot to add that i am aware of injuries and i know its not the com sorting for that ... i take all my injured players out myself

If you have every lineup set - vs. lefties w/ dh, vs. lefties w/o dh, vs. righties w/ dh and vs. righties w/o dh, this shouldn't happen.

If you're playing the games in play-by-play, you should first get a screen that allows you to set your lineup, as well, so you can correct any possible mistakes.

i just realized that i was playing an interleague game the last time it happened ... but i am also sure that it has happened in regular game as well ... hopefully i can work things out in 09

Also, be sure to turn off resting tired players. There's a setting in League -> League Options for Player Rest that you can set to "Simming 2+ days", "Always", or "Never". For what you want, you should probably put it on "Never".
