Surely this has been answered somewhere in these forums, but I cannot find it and I don't see a comprehensive list in game either. So my question is:
What are the differences between the demo version of Baseball Mogul 2009 and the full retail version?
I know that the demo is limited to a few starting years and I found that a few things like the stadium editor are not working in the demo, but is there a full list somewhere?
Thanks!

Demo: Only able to play in 58, 68, 78, 88, 98 and 2008
Full: Ability to play any season from 1901-2008
Demo: Only able to play one season
Full: Play as many seasons as you want.
Demo: Cannot use Commissioners mode.
Full: Can use Commissioners mode.
That all I can think about but there may be more. Just start snooping around with the demo and write down all the things you cant do.

I also believe the demo isn't the latest version. I think it is 10.5 or something. IMO the demo should be the most current patch. It would be good to put your best foot forward so to speak.

THX. I don't know what the last official patch was but I know it's not 11.04. You would think that you would want the demo to be the least buggy version available.

But wouldn't the fixed bugs be part of the incentive to buy the game?

That'd require re-releasing a new demo version with every patch. I don't know how time-consuming setting up the demo limitations, compiling the new .exe file, etc. is.

Why would someone even want to buy the game if the demo is all buggy? Maybe HGM is right though. I have no idea what would go into or how hard it would be to update the demo every new patch.

Well I'm still looking for the list, but so far I'm having a lot of fun with the demo. I did encounter a bug(?) though. While I was playing a game in Player mode in Play by Play, at the top of the eight something happened and I was immediatly brought back to the selection for the starting pitcher for the game I was already playing. Basically, the game I was playing was restarted as if it had never happened. :-( Other than that, I've played 4 games without any issue and it appears I can start another season.
Anyway, unless this "restart" bug shows up again and often, I'll most certainly buy the game. It's a lot of fun.
Thanks everyone.

Most of the bugs are only seen when playing for multiple seasons, except of course for the one that senam just pointed out.
