when i click league options and it lists all the teams and the owners many of them are listed in red(such as 3d). What does this mean? Is that the number of days since they have been on the site? Just wondering if anybody had any answers.

I think that the black numbers are minutes that they have been off line. If there is nothing next to their name, that means that they have been off for less than one day, butmore than an hour.
I think
Yup your right. Kinda scary when you see how long people have not logged in for huh ?

start kicking these people out. In one league I'm in there's @ least 4 guys with 32d. That's pretty sad. If you're not going to play then quit! It's makes it bad for those of us who do want to play.:(

If a user had not logged in to his team in 90 simulated days (9 days in a slow league, 2 days in a fastsim), then the computer takes over the basic managerial functions (setting lineups, putting players on the DL etc.)
If they have not logged in for 365 simulated days, then the computer takes over in full, signing contracts, making trades, etc.
The next time the player logs in, they instantly regain control over their team.

James,
I like the fact that the computer takes control, but I have a question. I tested this in FastSim 24 with a team that hadn't logged on in 27 days. In a FastSim league, this should be about 9 years. I offered a trade to Texas, but the computer GM didn't respond. The trade was posted like it was a human controlled team. Am I missing something, or is this a bug.
By the way, I think that it is really cool watching this game evolve. Some changes helped me, some hurt me, but I love the interaction and progress. Thanks to all for the great fun.

The computers may run the team, however i have not gotten a response from any of them...i don't think it's working if they are supposed to make trades!

Six teams in Fastsim12 haven't logged on for some time and they all are running deep in the red yet have their farm and scouting set well over 100, one team actually has 362/331 for these. Please see why the computer has not taken over these teams and fixed their spending.
Anahiem - 34 Days
Texas - 34 Days
ChicagoA - 33 Days
KC - 33 Days
TB - 10 Days
Montreal - 8 Days (362/331 farm & scouting)

Very much the same in FastSim6
Several teams that have not logged in since before the revenue update are spending astronomical amounts

James,
I like the idea of the computer taking over, but, in my case, I rarely get to the computer over the weekends, and all the open leagues are everyday sims. I have to spend about 30 mins each Monday reveiwing what the AI did to my teams. I would like to see a little longer "grace" period. I also think there should be a vacation mode. If you are going to be away for a while you can flag the team so other owners do not think you are negleting your responsibilities.

After 365 sim days, the computer should begin to accept trades. The fact that it doesn't is indeed a bug I will work on.
The 90/365 figures are our best guess at correct numbers here. We make tweak them with more feedback. We're also going to keep trying to offer a variety of league speeds and play times that meets demand better...

FastSim 4
Same thing............
But it is a good idea, to have the computer take over, it will make up for the lack of people that do not play anymore an still have teams.

I've fixed this bug. The CPU will accept/reject trades for defunct teams once we upload the new code in the next few days.

What about kicking people? How many days does it take for someone to get kicked? Playing against other people is after all the whole point of Baseball Mogul Online.
