anouncments in league forums

I just wanted to know if we can use the anouncements in the league forums (by the commish of course)

when you are a mod in a forum you have an anouncment listed in the forum (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1672)

i came across it and feel it may be benefitial in my league forum to post thinkgs like that for my gm's :p

How do you put a post in the ANNOUNCEMENT section of a league forum that you run?

I used to do this in the CL and AGML, I used it for draft announcements as well as any gimmics I was giving out...

Is it a moderation option? I don't see it?

Yea, it's a moderator option... although, I'm not sure how you go about using it exactly without Supermoderator access (and therefore at least limited access to the Admin CP). I think that you can just make a regular post and then use the thread tools menu at the top of every thread to change the post into an announcement, but I don't really know how to do it outside of the AdminCP.

if u are mad e amoderator in your own forum you can do it. You can also move things OUT of your forum and into the main forums but can never get them back
