Does anyone know how to clear all the history from a league?

I have a custom league of non-MLB teams. I would like to clear all the history from the league and basically start anew. The league just so happens to be in the year 2019, and it would be fine to start there.

I have gone to the advanced tools and cleared everything there, but it still maintains the team histories. I can't seem to find a way to get rid of them.

I went there, but there does not seem to be anything there that will clear the team histories...What place the team finished every year, World Series won etc.

I don't believe you can.

I think you have to delete the teams and create all your teams from scratch, instead of modifying existing teams. Otherwise, their history will be there.

One thing you can do is to edit the data in the teams.csv file in the lahman folder. You can delete the information for all seasons except the one you want to start in (e.g. if you want to start in 1929, leave just the rows for 1929). The game freezes if you try to start in a season other that the one that is left.

For a modern (2008) game leave just the 2007 info.

The history isn't exactly cleared but it shows their records as 0-0.

I am not sure if any problems will occur with the game because I haven't really tested this. I have attached a screenshot of the Yankees history in the 1929 season with cleared history.

Hadn't thought of that.

What I ended up doing was going into the league editor and deleting each team, then recreating each team. Of course this meant I also had to redo each ballpark because it would generate a generic one.

I learned this: You have to set the year the league starts (in the league settings screen) to the year that the league left off. In my case this was 2019. The first time I did it I set the league start to 2008 and I got 8 year olds in my draft.
