One thing I would like to see in the game is the ability to see all the games on a given date, and possibly the box scores and move forward and back to the next/previous day. Right now the only way to see all the games is to switch teams and go through their calendars, which takes a lot of time.

Yes. I suggested that a few months back. It would be really really nice

That'd be a cinch to program, and could be somewhat useful.
Adding to it, a screen that would show you the day's scores, top performers and noteworthy transactions or events (injuries, signings, trades) would be very nice for play-by-play players.

That is a great idea.

I support this wholeheartedly.

A page like this (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/scoreboard) would certainly be very neat.

Doesn't Football Mogul have something similar?

That would be nice to have available.

I'd actually rather see the day's scores than the current standings in the crawl...

I'd like to be able to see the days scores SOMEWHERE without haveing to do at least 16 clicks.

Maybe a "Last Game result" column in the standings?

Indeed! The standings are easy enough to see since they have their own button. The day's boxscore on the other hand...

Along with top performers maybe, like an ESPN crawl.
It'd be much better than seeing the NL's leaders in range factor for LF, or whatever random thing it wants to throw at you.

No, I want the crawl to throw some random information at me that I would have never cared to see, like LF Range Factor.
I also REALLY want to be able to see the outcomes of all yesterday's games without clicking through half of the teams.

I hate LF range factor. :)
I liked the idea that came up about being able to edit the crawl. A series of checkboxes as to what it should show, perhaps.

I don't mind seeing the odd stats, although I wouldn't mind seeing it weighted more towards more common stats.
I also would prefer to see more stats than standings... 6 division standings, 2 stats, 6 division standings, etc. is a little repetitive. I'd rather see something like: Today's scores, 2 stats, AL standings, 2 stats, Today's scores, 2 stats, NL standings, 2 stats, Today's scores, 2 stats, wildcard standings, 2 stats, etc... Especially if the scores could update as the game goes on (even if it was just inning-by-inning, and not trying to take game times into account)...
But this thread isn't about the crawl, is it?

This would be SOOOOO awesome, especially during a stretch run. Unfortunately, based on the way it seems games are simulated, I highly doubt it's possible.

Yeah, I know that this thread is almost a year old, but rather than starting a new one, I'll just bump this one. As mentioned here, a "Daily Calendar" that lists the scores from around the league would be a great and useful addition. I would like it so that I can see how the other teams are doing, especially when the pennant race heats up. So, +1 for this suggestion please. :)

I know it is not a solution to the problem - just a workaround - but my Result Summary App will do this if you export your box scores for the day in question. I know it is a drag to export all of the scores after each day (I have been lobbying for a way to export just scores from a date range or range of games), but I figured I would throw it out there. Link is in my signature.
