I don't know if this has been brought up before but I would like to see the trading window have balance cash and counter offer. This makes trading so much easier and quicker.

Thanks

i am unaware of cash in nfl trades. in fact name the last trade in which nfl teams traded player for player. it is rarely done anymore. trades in the nfl are expensive players (in relation to the salary cap) for draft choices. i follow the 49ers pretty religiously and i can't remember their last player for player or player for player and cash trade. it seems all trades and there are few of those are players for draft choices or draft choices for draft choices.

To my knowledge in the last 20 years or so there hasn't been a trade for cash for a player, but player for player has happened every few years or so, especially if coupled with draft picks. I think they should keep the trades similiar to what the game has now, as it is a smiulation and who doesn't want to trade for that player they want from X team and get rid of someone they don't like???

I am pretty sure the NFL like the NBA caps cash as a trading tool. Except, if we can use cash as a trading tool at least balance it out or get rid of it all together. Here are a list of trades I found, it doesn't include the Ricky Williams deal either. Obviously, its harder to make trades in the NFL because the offense/defense playbooks are so complicated that it takes veteran free agents all offseason to learn them. Of course, populare games such as Madden allow you to trade guys left and right which is more fun if less realistic.

Instead of a balance cash function which is barely used in the NFL, they really don't wheel and deal in money, there could be some kind of balance trade with draft pick funtion.

So you offer a trade if it still is rejected press the button and the team you are trading with could say ok throw in these drafts picks and it's a deal.

A Counter Offer function would be good to as long as money wasn't the deciding factor.

I just never hear of a NFL buying players like MLB.
