Uh ... 18.6 mil for Brandon Lyon? Say what?

Just in case it makes a difference, I equalized cities but did not recalculate salaries, so even with the extension Arizona's payroll is ~2.5 million under budget.

Also, just noticed that Huston Street was extended for 17.1 million and three years three days later, and then Gary Glover for four years @16.3 M per year two days after that. Is signing good but not exceptional relievers to record-setting contracts contagious, by any chance? :)

Final Edit: Resized the pic to 1024x768 so it doesn't stretch past the edge of the screen.

I've brought up this issue (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?t=179223) multiple times. It's crazy, and it only lasts for the one contract.

I've seen it in a league once. I had Jonah Bayliss, a solid but not exceptional reliever, asking for a 2 year extension at around 11 million dollars a year. I just waited it out and it came back down though.

My question is (one of them anyway) how much cash, total, is in the league when this is happening?
