Since I only own the demo version, I am going to take the Cowboys and make them a much better team than they are playing in real life. Don't expect much story.

The 2008-2009 Dallas Cowboys

Quarterback: The young, fantastic Tony Romo (so aptly nicknamed Romomentum, as he has been a great 4th quarter player, bringing plenty of momentum to this franchise). He is an outstanding quarterback, top 5 in the NFL, no doubt.

Halfback: A great running back that has scored 24 touchdowns the last two seasons in limited time, Marion Barber will now get every carry for this Cowboys offense. He is an explosive back who is always fun to watch.

Fullback: Deon Anderson is a decent blocker and catcher, but that's about it. He won't do much else, but nothing else is required of a fullback.

Tight End: Jason Witten is one of the top tight ends in the NFL, if not the best. Romo's favorite receiver, he will put up top numbers by the end of the year.

Wide Receivers: Terrell Owens is, if not the best wide receiver, one of the most feared and respected wide receivers in the league. With his height and hops, he is a great long ball threat, but he is also so explosive he is a short pass threat as well. Crayton is a good possession receiver, who will pull down most catches and get good yardage.

Offensive Line: A good line, led by Leonard Davis, Flozell Adams, and Kyle Kosier, the Romo should get solid protection and Barber should be able to bust big gains with this unit.

Defensive Tackles: This is one of the highlights of the defense. Jay Ratliff and Tank Johnson can hurt anyone that comes within arms distance of them, as they are ferocious tacklers.

Defensive Ends: Chris Canty and Marcus Spears are good pass rushers, but not much else.

Linebackers: DeMarcus Ware is one of the best at his position, with solid linebackers in Zach Thomas and Greg Ellis.

Cornerbacks: Anthony Henry and Terence Newman won't give up many uncontested passes, as these two are great cover guys.

Safeties: Another highlight of the defense, both Roy Williams and Ken Hamlins are hard hitters who could also easily intercept any pass near them.

Prediction: 13-3, NFC East title. No comment on the postseason yet.

Week 1 vs. Cleveland (0-0)

The season opens against the young but rising Cleveland Browns. Led by Braylon Edwards, this team is explosive offensively if inconsistent at times. They could easily take control early, so we look to establish a slower pace and exploit their weak D-Line by mercilessly running. Derek Anderson could crumble under pressure, so we'll probably send a rush, and maybe a blitz, every single time.

We force them to punt early, and on the ensuing drive Barber breaks free for a 43 yard run and a touchdown. 7-0 with 10:17 left in the first.

On the next play, Jamal Lewis takes it 82 yards for a quick counter. 7-7 with 8:43 left in the first.

Anthony Henry was injured with 5:28 left in the first. That's not good. He'll be out one week with knee problems.

With 1:33 left in the first, Romo throws a TD pass to Owens. 14-7.

End of the first quarter, 14-7 Cowboys.

Tackle Marc Colombo will be out a week with a minor concussion. Great.

Jason Witten caught a TD pass with 4:48 left in the second quarter. 21-7

Anderson threw a screen pass to Jamal Lewis who ran 16 yard for the touchdown. 21-14, 1:04 left

With 0:07 left, McBriar put up a 42 yard FG, but missed it wide right.

End of the half, 21-14.

Marion Barber pulled his calf, he'll be out two weeks. Felix Jones will take over as starting halfback.

With 6:20 left in the third, Romo throws a 16 yard pass to Owens for the touchdown. 27-14 Cowboys as McBriar misses the PAT. (Remind me to get a real kicker after the game.)

Braylon Edwards scored the first points of the 4th quarter, bringing them within 27-21, 14:46 left.

With 10:42, Owens scores his third touchdown of the day! 6 yard pass over the middle, 34-21 Cowboys.

Backup tight end Tony Curtis was injured on the kickoff, becoming our teams 4th injured player of the game.

Felix Jones broke a tackle and sprinted 47 yards for the touchdown. Prior to this run, he had 4 rushes for 8 yards, he is now 5 for 55. 41-21 Cowboys, 7:07 to go.

Andre Dawson kicked a 24 yard field goal to put them down by 17 with 3:37 remaining.

This one is in the books. Cowboys take the win, 41-24.

Romo was 18-30, 266 yards, 4 touchdowns.
Barber: 16 rushes, 111 yards, 6.9 yards per rush, one touchdown.
Felix Jones: 9 rushes, 63 yards, 7 yards per rush, one touchdown.
Owens: 7 receptions, 110 yards, 3 touchdowns.
Witten: 6 receptions, 73 yards, 1 touchdown.
Crayton: 3 receptions, 58 yards.
DeMarcus Ware: 1 sack, 3 tackles.
Marcus Spears: 6 tackles.
Greg Ellis: 1 sack, 4 tackles.
Ken Hamlin: 1 interception, 6 tackles.

Week 2 vs. Philadelphia (0-1)

Now we have the always tough Eagles. McNabb will be a problem not just to get to him and try to stop him before he throws, but also to contain him so he doesn't scramble while we're going after him. Westbrook is a major threat, but they don't have good receivers. Their defense is good, so we might have troubles scoring. We're gonna rush McNabb, have at least one linebacker available in case he runs, and stop the deep throws. As for offense, we'll use Felix Jones speed to run it outside and then hit the Eagles with as much short passes as we can get.

Somehow the game accidentally simmed by itself, so I'm just gonna repeat the play by play shown in the internet box.

Romo to Owens for 4 yards. 7-0

Romo to Witten for 4 yards. 14-0

Sampson kicks 51 yard field goal. 14-3

Romo to Miles for 26 yards. 20-3 since McBriar missed another PAT, his second in two weeks.

Jones 60 yard run, 27-3.

McNabb to Brown, 3 yard pass. 27-10.

Game over. Cowboys win.

Romo: 25/33, 3 touchdowns
Jones: 13 rushes for 110 yards, 8.4 yards per rush, 1 touchdown.
Witten: 4 for 24, 1 touchdown
Owens: 8 for 102, 1 touchdown
Crayton: 4 for 58
Ellis: 1 sack, 3 tackles.
