Limited player position changes?

What about the wideout who never made it as a receiver but nails it as a corner? or a DE who makes a great tight end?

Also, when I do change positions with a player, the stats get way messed up. Sometimes all the numbers go to 0, then if I try to change them back, they go up over 100, but then go back to about 50.

Perhaps you should split this into two threads: one is a suggestion that more flexible position changes be allowed, such as offense to defense. The second is an actual bug, the erratic behavior of player ratings when you change positions.

To be honest, I gave up changing positions "legally". I do all my changes in Commissioner mode. It's ridiculous to have a DE rated 88 on the bench when your starting DT gets injured and his replacement is a 70 -- but if you change positions for even a single week, then try to move the sub back to DE, he's permanently worse than before.
