Dpy2kz,
What are you intentions in this game? What I mean is do you want to totally rebuild a team, or just pick one up and start winning from what you inherited.

i am planning to start fresh from 2002, and i will play about ten seasons. I wanna know what the best team is from 2002 to 2010.

I know you are thinking 'No way' but wait. The reason is they have a good income, I normally get rid off most of the high salary players a part from A. Rod, the reason for this is because by getting rid of them there team salary is cut by more than half, which means that you can pump more money into farm team so that you get better prospects, this normally takes 2 seasons but after that I normally start to do well. but the best way to find out who is best is try different teams as each owner has a team that they think is best.

I would say Toronto because they have a great and young middle infield and talent that can be moved. in almost every league look at Roy Halladay He is GREAT!

I play Toronto in one league -- 2002 and Beyond.
Roy Halliday took his high salary and never performed for me.
I wanted to use more colorful language, but I thought I would be setting a bad example.

I would say the best big market team is LA. Just need to move alot of players, you can buy them out during the first season, that's what I did. Baltimore is a good team to handle. You just need to build from the farm up and you should be comepting by 2004.
I have done this with both teams. With LA, I have won 4/7 world series, while winning the division 6 straight seasons. With Baltimore, I just went from 53-109 to 100-62, while building my farm.
Good luck!

In real life I am Blue Jays Fan. But compare their farm system(In real life) and they are the best for hitting but have almost no pitching. If you start to win with them they are a very good team. There is more than Halladay. If there was a roster update for online or even just allowing us to load our own rosters it would be much appreciated to demonstrate how good toronto really is.
