Official Patch: 7.070

To install this patch, unzip the attached file and copy over your existing 'FB2K9.exe' file.

Issues addressed since 7.060 (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?t=189635):

1. "Go Get" button fixed (in Find Players, and in Scouting Report when called from from Leaders Page).

2. Appropriate playbook loaded (with user approval) when Defensive System is changed (e.g. '4-3' to '3-4').

3. Changing position doesn't corrupt ratings.

4. Fixed Trading Deadline 'cheat' (using the 'Go Get' button in Find Players)

5. The computer no longer automatically adjusts 'Run/Pass Balance' for human-controlled teams each week.

Hi, I can't get this to work even after doing registry editing and reinstall I'm running 64-bit Vista. I noticed another Vista user had the same problem.

And, can you at least get Football Mogul 2009 to "work" using your original download link?

Football Mogul is installed and working fine. The patch won`t install and claims I don`t have Football Mogul installed.

Maybe I'm missing something with your problem, but did you extract the FB2K9.exe file from the patch .zip file into your Football Mogul folder? It should overlay the existing file with that name there.

Running the FB2K9.exe file in the patch .zip file on its own does not patch Football Mogul.

We also have Vista and having a lot of trouble downloading the patches and rosters

I'm running Vista and I believe its 64 bit. When I click the above link, I get the download window that asks me to RUN, SAVE, or CANCEL. Whether I click RUN or SAVE, the window just disappears and nothing happens. I'm not prompted for a location to save it to. There's no download progress bar.

Help?Try right-clicking and then choosing 'Save Target As...' -- that should bring up the dialog that lets you choose where to save it.

Otherwise, since you are on Vista, click the Start menu, go to Recent Items, and find whatever you just downloaded/saved. You can either hover over it for its location, or you can right click it and choose "Open File Location". Usually it defaults to your downloads folder. Either way, once you locate the file, you can move it to wherever you want it to go.

Part Un... I got it downloaded. Thanks! I saved it to my download folder first, then I re-downloaded it and saved it to my Football Mogul folder.

Part Deux... I get the same error noted above. It says "you are missing one or more files. You must have the full version of Football Mogul to take advantage of the patch."

I believe you might be saving it to the wrong football mogul folder.

My Computer/C:/Sports Mogul/Football Mogul -- don't access it from the Program files/Sports Mogul folder

You also have to save it to the whole "football mogul" folder.

Good news.... I got it installed and ran in the right place, thanks!

Bad news.... I simmed to 2013, and at this year it started going in alphabetical order of city name again for the college draft. This is the same year it was doing it on my other team before I installed the patch.

I thought this or the previous patch fixed this issue. Ideas?
