This league(glover) will be fair to both big market teams and small. Small market teams will be able to designate 2 players for 5 years/1 point and middle market teams will be able to designate 1 player for 5 years/1 point. There is no trading franchise players. Once you designate someone as your fp you are stuck with him for 5 years. We will also have revenue sharing.
If your small market team and:
You win the world series: You receive 50 points
make it to the division championship: you receive 25
make it to the playoffs: you receive 10
If your middle market team and:
You win the world series: You receive 25 points
make it to the division championship: you receive 15
make it to the playoffs: you receive 5
Revenue sharing will work as follows: Big market teams have to give 15% of its total revenue and small market teams will receive 80% of that and middle market teams will receive 20%. For example if Ny makes 750 points it will have about 110 of it taken away from there. If you are unable to pay that you will go into negatives.
At the Beggining of the season each team can release any players they want and only pay 10% of his contract.
