View Full Version : 7.050 Draft and Roster?

Not sure if these are bugs or not, but..

Version 7.050, Windows XP

When I have the Draft displayed and then go and start the draft, the display goes to the next year and I can not view the draft as it is happening. For example. If the draft is the 2009 draft, and am displaying the 2009 draft on the screen, then I start the draft, the screen now displays the 2010 draft.

While playing a season last night, I had a roster of 66 players (I had been using about 58 players on the roster and had no problems) and more than enough coverage at every position, for some reason, as the season was going along, when I looked at my roster, it was automatically signing FAs to 3 yr minimum contracts. I "released" them when I noticed, but 3 games later there were another 4 or 5 FA's that were acquired. Not sure why it is doing that.

Thanks
Tim

Dunno about this one. Have you installed 7.070? May fix things, but don't know.

I installed 7.070. The problems are still there. I found a work around for the Draft Display. If you display the draft and go to the previous year, when you start the draft it will add the "one" and display the current year. My guess is that the code is adding one instead of going to the current year.

With the automatically adding players to my roster, it is doing it more and more. It seems like it adds FAs even during a game if your roster falls below a certain number at that position, who can play in that game. So if you have a TE or any other position get fatigued (not even injured) and you dont have say x number of non fatigued TEs it will assign you the lowest rated TE from the pool, mid game and keep him on your roster, even if you have 4 TEs on your team. It even allows exceeding the Salary Cap.

I don't have this problem so maybe reinstall fbm?

I filed a bug report about this; I seem to have the problem only when I'm close to the salary cap (less than $1M to spare.)
