Unwanted Substitutions

Just was given Football Mogul 2007. Love the game so far but I've noticed a problem in the first two games I've played. Using the St. Louis Rams, I had Gus Ferotte inserted at QB about midway through the 4th quarter in both games. Bulger is not injured, at least not to my knowledge. And I can't get Bulger back into the game.

Third game Bulger was injured, and inserted Ferotte into the game. About halfway through the 4th quarter suddenly Fitzgerald is in the game, no injury to Ferotte, and once again, I can't get Ferotte back in. Anyone explain to me what it going on? :mad::confused:

Oh yeah, I'm running version 5.10. Downloaded a patch which supposedly would take it to 5.19, but it wouldn't work. Said I was missing some files and to reinstall the game. Did that, but it still would not load.
