The Red Sox start with Nomar on the IL, but he comes back in the mid season. Everyone knows Nomar Garciapara is one of the best SS in the league, but why would Boston have the advantage of just signing Nomar for just a bit under 30 points for 7 years, because he was injurd?? I think Nomar should think about it before he accept a 30 points a year contract for a whole 7years.

How old is he and what year is your league in?
I've signed a couple greatly skilled players for 1 point.

he will accept a greatly reduced salary. At least i have found this to be true most of the time.

Sometimes a player's injury can greatly diminish their playing abilities. If a player gets a serious injury, then sometimes they never play as well again.
So it's not necessarily bad that the players are cheap -- you don't know until you try them whether they will be damaged goods.
