i know this because in fast sim34 i'm the nyy and was going to go pick up a star starting pitcher which nobody had signed and they went in and picked up 4 or 5 starting pitchers! Some of which they only signed for the remainder of this season...Could it be that they sign them then get a young star pitcher when the don't resign the player? Just a thought. Overall though i still think the game is very good...Just a suggestion though, how about getting more of the players signed before(or at least early)in the season. How many years would a P.Martinez go unsigned by somebody in the offseason?

Look at the computer-managed Detroit team in Fastsim51. They've doubled there spending limit with no hope of a profit. What gives?

It's from other people trading players to the computer. The computer does not seem to take into account spending in any of it's trades. For this reason, people dump overpaid players onto computer teams, people even sign free agents just to trade them to computers. Computer trading is a big problem that needs to be fixed. But if it is fixed, I fear that it will just cause more people to grab control of two teams with different accounts which is already a big problem.

going to the free agent screen and paying for pitching. Many were very good pitchers, however they paid anywhere from 25-50 pts and didn't even start all three. Two of them were put in the minors...I know this because i was going to take one of the pitchers but was going to wait a little while. Well i waited a couple sims to long and found out the computer gm picked them up. They proceeded to go into negative total cash and lost a couple of the young pitchers(signed 1 yr contracts) they had just signed.
