Using Starters as Relievers

In BBM if you use a pitcher who has been used primarily as a starter for relief, will he have the same results as a reliever with the same ability, or will he be penalized by the engine because he is used to being a starter? I guess what I'm asking is: is it safe to use SP's as RP's from time to time, or will they not fair as well?

You should be able to use a starter as a reliever. Sometimes you'll find out that some starters just don't seem to pitch as well in the bullpen, but it generally works just fine. You should usually have a starter as your Spot Starter, and sometimes even as a long reliever.
