Guys,

Just got done with my first season on 2.1 and here are my thoughts:
Seems to take longer time to maxamize and then minimize the screen so i can read the team names

Ctrl-B doesn't even work for me (Trading Block)

Trading block doesn't update after I make a trade

The trading block function is very slow, I read an article between every attempt

I would like an update of the number of players you have on the FA screen, rather then having to close and open it again

After my first season P.Edinger was 38/16 for FG's under 30 and that helped push his FG % to 125%

The draft was really slow when i tried to change to "next player"

I suggested the signing bonuses be fixed and I'll give you some opinions for and against this (im in mogul level also). I trade all my players for DPs and tank the season. With my 6 dps i got into debt with signing bonuses which didnt allow me to sign any FAs. I was still getting quality players in the 3rd and 4th round who didn't look like they needed any seasoning time. What are the long term effects of these large signing bonuses, especially for computer teams, do they all go bankrupt?

I'm not having any problems with signing bonuses. My team has a $60M payroll, and I'm profitable from week one. Have been for 6 seasons in a row now. It is possible to manage a winning team with a low payroll. My team has been going for 9 years and is the 6 time defending champ. And I started with the 2002 Arizona Cardinals for goodness sake! That's at the mogul setting...
The fact that you are bankrupt probably has less to do with how much you give out in signing bonuses, and more to do with your total payroll. I have the 32nd payroll, and rank 1st in revenue. Cha ching!

EX:
Ricky Williams at age 30 wants too much money. Sure, he's still great, and probably worth the $5M a year he's asking for in re-negotiations. The more 5 million dollar a year players you have, the less profitable you'll be. Bite the bullet. Let Ricky walk. Spend that $5 mill on 3 or 4 players. Or better yet, leave your payroll 5 mill lower. You'll be profitable in no time.

Football Mogul 2003 2.1.6 is still painfully slow. Very similar to the original version. Maybe if there is an option to turn off making a box score for every game. The game as it stands has potential, but it takes for ever to sim through a season. One of the things that Baseball Mogul excels in, Football Mogul gets a failing grade. It has that TRS-80 kind of speed.
