Game can't find "game" file

I have pretty much given up playing Football Mogul because after a couple of seasons about five or six games into the year the 'game day" screen will go blank on me. The message I get is that I should make sure the "games" folder is in my directory. It is. The game can find it to keep track of leaders and to print out game summaries but won't find it for the game day screen. I find the game day screen pretty essential to the enjoyment of the game. I am playing on Vista. Any help out there? Sent out this plea for help a while back but never got a response...:mad:

I have Vista also and the game works fine on my computer. So dont blame it on Vista.

I blame everything on Vista. Its responsible for the economic recession, global warming and my fantasy pitchers' blossoming ERAs.:D
