I want to start a completely brand new league, so I set options to fictional teams and players. Next I clean career stats, transactions, records, etc...

But how do I delete all players' years of experience?

I have a "supposedly" new league with 15-years veterans? :(

only way i know how is to do it 1 player at a time (going into commish mode & clicking to edit the player & entering 0 for their service time)

never messed around with the input/output of rosters, but maybe you could output the rosters & zero out all player's service time in an easier way & then input the new rosters back in the game?

Not really. You can start a league with all fresh players. (although I may be wrong).
I've dabled in the whole starting a dynasty in 1901 with no prior records of past players, and all the players who start up in 1901. Their stats are always there.

Not exactly what I want. I'd like to start a new league in 2009, so if I want it to be "realistic" it could not have players with years of experience.

I have done it one player at a time but I was so so so annoying.

I also tried to do it with rosters file, but couldn't make it work. Maybe someone has done it successfully and can help us...?

Another question to go with my first one.

I'm truly interested in playing BBM2010 simulating a whole new fictional league from scratch. Is there a way to "clean" team history prior 2008?

My fictional teams have the history of RL teams...

You want to wipe all players that play now, and create all new teams with new players?

I think you'd have to delete everyteam, recreate them, and go from there...

Oh and delete all the free-agents

I did this yesterday. It is a bit annoying but it's a good way of creating a new league. The problem now is find a way to "clean" teams' history prior 2008? My fictional teams have the history of RL teams...

I'm not entirely sure if it's possible.

Only thing I can think of is redoing the whole lahman database, lol

what about a completely fictional database with fictional teams. do the edit each player, but wouldn't fictional teams have no history... you could put in the current teams, but give them different three-letter abbreviations, so they aren't the same... just rename the photos or create a new photo file.... just thinking out loud here
