BUG: v10.04 Amateur Draft Order

I do realize that this is v10.04 from Baseball Mogul 2008 and I just wanted to point it out for you to see if it's still a current issue.

1) Does it occur during Simulation, General Manager Mode, Manager Mode, Player Mode -- or all 4?

2) If it occurs in Play-By-Play, does it happen for human-controlled teams, computer-controlled teams, or both.

Changes made: league simulation settings are at 100 or +0%

Details: When two teams are tied in standings during the previous season, the amateur draft order does not go back to the season occuring two seasons prior to check those standings to see which team should be placed higher in the draft order. It seems to me that it is doing it alphabetically right now.

Why should it go back two years to determine draft order? Is that how the MLB does it?

It only goes back two years if two or more teams were tied in the previous year.

Wow - did not know that. Then yeah, I guess the game should do the same thing.

Tough to arrange a tie just to test the draft order. I'd bet this hasn't changed.

Now the only Baseball Mogul I own is 2008, so I can't test in newer versions, but it's not hard to arrange a tie. Just sim an entire season and then look at the standings, run an amateur draft, and see if they match up properly or if the tied teams are done alphabetically.

Or you can go to the league editor and edit the standings to force a tie.
