Ok everyone, time to get this thing started. 1st off, our coaches.
GM: Kenny Williams
Manager: Ozzie Guillen
Pitching Coach: Greg Maddux(Just Hired)

That is the Staff in the Front Office. Now it is time to turn you over to the story, we start on April 1st 2009, after the White Sox completed Spring Training, they had 1 thing to focus on, a World Series. In his office on a cool and sunny day at U.S. Cellular Field, Kenny Williams was sitting in his office, waiting to talk to Ozzie Guillen
Kenny: Ozzie, so glad you can come, take a seat.
Ozzie: Hello Kenny how are you doing today.
Kenny: Pretty Good Ozzie, you
Ozzie: I am doing good to, just pumped about the season, now you wanted to see me.
Kenny: Yes, so lets get down to business. We looked great in the pre season. Now we need to continue our good luck and fortune into the new season.
Ozzie: Yes, I totally agree, and with the new guys we just got. We are a sure fire team.
Kenny: Ozzie, Here are the goals for this season.
Goals for 2009:
Win Divison
Get at least 90 Wins:

Have at least 2 All Stars
Kenny: Those are our goals, Make sure the team knows them, that is all I needed to say Ozzie, Good Luck to the and you this season.
Ozzie: Thank You Kenny

By the way, you guys are the media. Ask any questions, tell what you think about trades, FA, contracts, ect.
xtheriot2
08-15-2009, 03:53 PM
If you're going to put Peavy and Rios on the team from the start of the season, you should make Alexei Ramirez reflect his play this season.
And that Pujols trade is ridiculous and stupid.
Red Sox Fan 734
08-15-2009, 03:55 PM
Ok, I will be the media...why would you trade the Cardinals 22 players for Pujols, and why would the Cardinals accept 22 mediocre players for the best player in the game today?
nwuhockey
08-15-2009, 03:56 PM
What do you mean reflect play.
Who was the trade bad for. Me or Cards

I think he means that since you a starting with trade-deadline rossters you should edit his stats because he hasn't done so good this year
I think the trade was great for you lol just unrealistic.

2) Whoa that skin is also a little...crazy
xtheriot2
08-15-2009, 06:30 PM
Yes, I did mean that since you are starting with trade deadline rosters you should a)do it for the whole league and b)edit players to reflect play this year too. I mean most players won't be effected too much by a bad year, but a sophomore like Ramirez would be.
As far as the Pujols trade goes, why would the Cardinals accept 22 players that will never amount to ANYTHING for the guy that will be the best player in the game for several years to come?

Any question for Mr. Pujols
How does it feel that the Cardinals let you go for some minor league filler? Seems like a slap to your face doesn't it? And now the White Sox have three first basemen and two spots for them. Will you accept a smaller role on the team and be willing to come off the bench? Konerko and Thome did come here first.
nwuhockey
08-15-2009, 08:19 PM
Albert:
You know I am not worried about the trade. Yeah, it is sad the cards let me go, but my main objective now is helping to get these sox back to the world series

1) Mr. Pujols, how do you feel about your old team?
A) That organization is a joke.
B) They are a classy outfit.
C) No comment.
2) Mr. Pujols, are you staying?
A) Yes, I love the fans, the coaches, the players.
B) No, I hate it here. I'm sick of this place, I want out.
C) It's time to start a new chapter in my life. I'm filing for free agency.
3) Mr. Pujols, how do you compare with Miggy Cabrera and Mark T?
A) How many homers does Miggy have...180? This is the big leagues, not the minors.
B) Only time can tell, so we'll have to see right?
C) In a few years, you forget those wannabees the way I put numbers up.

Trade Pujols and the rest of your sh***y minor leaguers that will never be something for A-Rod and Tex.
A-Rod can play 3rd. Konerko can play left. Tex at first. Thome DHing. And then trade more minor leaguers for Johan Santana. He can catch.

Are the White Sox interested in pitching phenom and savant Charlie Conway? Is it possible they would purposely tank it in a few seasons in order to be able to draft him the next year?

Ok guys, I was not able to get back to this because school. So here we go.

In this sim we went 15-15, ending up 27-25, this was good enough for a 1st place tie with the Twins, and 1 GB of Texas in the Wild Card.

In a very suprising move the Orlando Century take 2B Jesse Rigden, 65/94, over Stephen Strasburg, Strasburg went 2nd overall to the Mariners
As for the White Sox, with the 22nd pick, they took RP, Ken Perkins, 56/92
All the other guys:
2nd Round: Terrence Ledlie, SP, 49/86
3rd Round: Chris Winkler, 3B, 61/72
4th Round: Kevin Calhoun, CF, 60/71
5th Round: Jeremiah Barchitta, RF, 60/69
6th Round: George Jackson, SP, 51/73
All of my guys will start in the Rookie Leagues.
