Texas' offense will carry them into it.

Aren't these polls relaly just extensions of the prediction thread you just made? :p

agreed...but in comparison to metsguys threads, i would rather see these kinds of threads.

Yeah but this is easier for everyone to post. Not everyone is going to post their entire predictions so I'm curious what the entire board thinks.
Here, you just point and click!
It's the predictions thread for the ADD generation.

You should make one for the NL East.

You should make one for the NL East.
Pretty much useless for races that are all but guaranteed.

yeah I'm only doing them for the ones that are interesting.
And I'd rather not make an NL East one and have you vote for the Mets.

The Marlins are only 4.5 back. The Braves are only 6 back.

all but guaranteed.....which is pretty well what it is the way the phillies are playing and with their remaining schedule....they could blow it, it just isn't likely, which is basically what HGM was saying.

The Phillies aren't the Mets. They're not gonna blow a big lead with a month and a half left in the season

If the Phils hadn't gone out and gotten Lee at the deadline I'd say there's a chance but he's shown that he's going to be like Sabathia last year and be downright unhittable every start. Couple that with Happ and Blanton being tremendous this year and Hamels hopefully being more consistent and I don't see Florida winning the division.
The Marlins are as hot as they've been all year and haven't been able to trim the gap past 4.5 despite the Phillies hitting their funk last week. The Marlins will cool down. I'm not too scared of the Braves. Their offense is just too weak.

I'm replying to the comments above about the Phillies not being the Mets and choking.

Whoops, my bad, it looked like you were talking about the NL Wild Card. Maybe I should read these more carefully. Anti-win for me.

I think the Sox will hold on. They are getting healthy again, it's a team that is capable of becoming championship caliber again.
Plus, I really, really, really wanna see Sox-Yanks for the ALCS. I loved the 03 and 04 series so much.

Ugh, FOX's wet dream...Yankees-Sox.

I really want to see something like Rangers/M's and Angels for the ALCS. Just to piss FOX off. Sure L.A. is a big city but nothing like Yanks-Sox. And if the Marlins get to the World Series, more lulz for me.

The drama of Yanks-Sox outweighs my hatred for FOX.
It's just different in New York and Boston in October. I would love to say Colorado in October is the same or anywhere else, but it's not. Those two cities live and die by that ALCS between the two, and I love it.
When the Rockies lost in 07. We were sad, sure. I was depressed, but the city was watching the Broncos and caring about the Nuggets three days later. It's not a baseball town.

Yeah...well I'm not looking forward to being at school in October if it's Yanks-Sox. That is unless the Phillies are still playing...then I'll be able to manage.

Bleh.
If the Rockies make the series I want them playing Boston or New York. I want to kick their ass!

Ha sorry but if that scenario played out it would be a replay of 07. Sweeeep.

Well yeah it'd kill their ratings for sure. I probably wouldn't watch much of a Rockies-Rangers World Series.

I wouldn't blame you.
What I want for the playoffs:
Dodgers vs. Cardinals NLDS
Phillies vs. Rockies NLDS
Red Sox vs. Angels ALDS
Yankees vs. Tigers ALDS
Dodgers vs. Rockies NLCS
Red Sox vs. Yankees ALCS
Rockies vs. Yankees WS
That would be the most dramatic, imo.

I don't know if I could handle us playing Philly, the Dodgers, and the Yankees. I might have a heart attack

I'd love for either the Giants or Rockies to beat the Yankees in the World Series so I can laugh at all the Yankees fans
