anyone besides me annoyed at the price of video games?
I just reserved 5 games.. and paid $50 aidnt even get anythng to pick up because Wolfenstein was pushed back a week!
So anyway after my rant... anyone have any feelings on these games... cant wait till they all come out...

I'm excited for Left 4 Dead 2 and Modern Warfare 2. I'm indifferent for ODST, I hope it's not as bad as Halo Wars

It's the new Halo game you play as a Shock Trooper or something. It's like Halo 3 but not.
If I did have a soundtrack Gangsta's Paradise would be track number one.

I tried the batman demo a couple days ago... the way he walks is kind of weird but teh fightnig... AWESOME!!!

are you the boy who is trying to quit smoking or is that somebody else? perhaps once you do this you will have much more disposable income for video games as well as more money so you can start going to church again to rebuild your relationship with jesus christ.

MW2 was the boggone.. it was $120.... but comes wiht night vision goggles and a styrophome head :p

unfortunatly it is true... of we keep paying it... they will keep selling it. most of the time when I buy something I wait 1-2 weeks and get it at gamestop for $10 off mostly because I am cheep :p and it give the game companies less $. BUT these are all ones I want asap lol. Halo and MW2 I will be playing the day they came out... infact I have taken 11/10/09 off :D

LOTS of PC stuff coming out over the next few months. Modern Warfare 2, Batman : Arkham Asylum, Assassin's Creed 2 and Dragon Age : Origins are all pretty much 'must buy' games. And The Saboteur, Majesty 2, Borderlands, Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising and Tropico 3 are worth a look. Brutal Legend on the 360, NHL 2010 on the 360...keeping an eye on Arma 2 and Hearts of Iron 3 to see if the patches improve them...AAAAGGGHHHHH! :D

Left 4 Dead 2 and Bioshock 2 are the games Im waiting for. I seen my game in game informer last month, its called Rage. :D I think I would like that too, it looks like a different fallout type game.

I need to finish Bioshock 1 before I get 2. I'm close. I made a horrible decision going on the hardest level.

Theirs an achievement for that I believe huh? Ive never been into shooting games my whole life, but Bioshock got me into em. Before Fallout 3 thats the only game I beat twice.

Sports games and Resident Evil used to be my thing exclusively, until I experienced the joy of Bioshock, and then the euphoria of Fallout 3.
You can even look at my profile on Xbox and most of my achievements are from those two games. I totally wish the Show was on Xbox.

Oh they are win all the way. Its like a simpler form of Wow. But not an online world u know. Its really fun playing with friends on it.

All I can think of is TNP playing Wolfenstein with the volume real low and when something good happens fist pumping and jumping and whisper yelling "Yes"

Yes because video games that are $60 are dirt cheap for EVERYONE who doesn't smoke or engage in other addictions.

If you look around, you should be able to find the demo. I absolutely loved it...a game with a stealth element that's actually really well done and fun, and the fighting mechanics are simple but good. I'm definitely looking forward to the full release.

Agreed... the only thing I didnt like whas how offcenter batman is and the stiff wy he walks... otherwise the demo was GREAT

Man...I just looked at the upcoming release schedule, and on Sept. 15th Batman : Arkham Asylum, the PC version of Red Faction : Guerrilla AND Tropico 3 are all coming out. :eek:

Batman so far is good... Id say on a scale of 1-10 I give it somewhere between 7.5 and 8.5. My rankings
Gears of War 2 10.0 (strictly played offline)
Wolverine 9.0
COD4 (ModernWarfare1) 9.2 (8.75 offline 9.5 online)
COD5 (World at War) 9.0 (9.5 offline 8.5 Online)
Wolfenstein 9.0 (tho hard to say only about 35% thru it)
Batman
Prince of Persia
Madden
Resident Evil 5
Left 4 Dead
Every one of these I would say for me is above a 7.
COD4 outdoes COD5 ONLY due to multiplayer. I prefer the WWII guns to the new stuff but the maps for COD4 are 10 times better then 5 and there are less places for people to sit and snipe from across the board in 4
