Game freezes during a sac fly with runner on 3rd

Hi folks. the game freezes up when doign a sac fly with a runner on 3rd being sent in for the extra run. in other words, i get the box display that says if you want to send runner home but it is blank and you cant hit ok to do so. i have to exit via the x and resume the game and I end up losing the game because of this. Also, when doing traades, the box freezes with nothing in the display box and you have to exit the game completely. I run Vista 32 bit with nvidia geforce fx 6150 se and amd athlon dual core processor 4400+. Ayone else get this and is there a fix. Thx.
