If you click on the link, it describes the Roster Dialog, but there are no strategy hints or guidelines. Previous versions, in particular, gave recommendations on how many players to carry at each position. There's a lot that's not obvious to a beginner about how FM does things: the multiple formations that automatically use players other than your default Pro or 4-3 lineup; the rigid position designations that prevent using, for example, a Guard as a Tackle; the Special Team formations that use extra Tight Ends, Linebackers and perhaps other positions so that you really need more at these positions than you might expect.
