Hey everyone. Just wanted to share with everyone a roster in which I created. It includes BBM'10 default rosters, as well as two created teams. One team, which is the main focus of the roster mod, is a team called the Hollywood Stars. This team consists of baseball players from movies or tv. There are a good amount of options to pick of in terms of players, so I suggest if you have some favorite fictional baseball players, mix and match some lineups and have fun with it. Pitchers were harder to come by, but there are a few options there as well. This roster was made purely for fun and accuracy may be slightly off, but I did the best I could to make each player as "accurate" as I preceive it.
The second team I created is called the Nashville Stampede and was only made in order to have an even number of teams in the league, which is 32 total in this mod. It consists of all randomly generated players, so they will basically be the Washington Generals of baseball.
Also if anyone is truly interested in this mod, I have already created player portrait photos and also a team logo. It was incredibly hard to find photos of these fictional Hollywood players but I was able to find all but 2 people. So if you're interested please let me know and I will add them to this post.
I hope you all enjoy and have fun! :)

Haha, that's what it's all about man.
Here is some player photos which I was able to find. Some were almost impossible to find so some of the quality of the photos are not the greatest but I hope you all enjoy.

Just right click the images and save them into your portrait or action photo folders just in case you are on those people who have no clue what to do with these photos.

I also noticed that I had messed up on a few minor things (like first name-last name mix ups) and now they are fixed, so here is an update on the roster.

Here is the logo in which I created for the team. It as an obvious rip off from a professional sports team, but I thought it looked pretty good for the cause. Also note that the logo is the correct height but is a tid bit wider than is called for, for regular logos. It works though. Enjoy.

Hollywood Stars.
What a great idea, rchusta.
Now, I have only to come to grips with the annoying fact that I didn't think of it first.

Haha. I've always done this for fun with MLB 2k series which looks awesome when you play the game, but one day I just thought of doing it on here and it was pretty fun to put together and look for people. It can be a REAL stretch to find second basemen and shortstops. The starting second baseman I had to really reach for with one of the latin guys from Mr. 3000 and it was tought to figure out what his first name was.

I am always open to looking for other players and adding anyone. An update on this roster, I am sure wouldn't hurt. Let me know if anyone has suggestions! Sorry I didn't get back to you guys earlier, I just hadn't been looking at this thread much lately, haha.

Not sure on who the actor is, but I think he is the egotistical star of the current Brewers in Mr. 3000.
EDIT: Yeah, he's from Mr. 3000, and his name is Brian J. White (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0924552/).

Good ones JPZ. I have yet to see the Sugar movie yet, but that is definately a good idea. I heard it was a pretty decent movie. Like reflections said, I was stearing towards more fictional players and I was really hesitant on possibly doing Jimmy Morris because he is at least a lefty pitcher which is tough to come by in baseball movie/television. Open to any more if anyone else can think of some so I can do a full roster update.

In a Beverly Hillbillies episode a Dodgers' scouts notices Jethro on a golf outing after he knocks a golf ball out of a tree with a rock from about 100 yards away. Back at the Clampett mansion the scout wants to see what he can do with a baseball and discovers while he has a rocket arm, he can only throw a baseball straight with pig grease (or something of that nature).

I just found another baseball player from watching an X-Files episode, haha. His name is Josh Exley and he played for the Grays in the 1940's and hit 61 homeruns unofficially. Get this, he is really an extra-terrestrial being who disguises himself as a black baseball player so that he is able to enjoy the game which he could not as an alien and keep himself out of the national spotlight by throwing his performances on the field when major league scouts go to his games.
