Easy question. How did your predictions (be they for record, playoff teams, standings, awards {later}) turn out for you? Were you dead on, or were you the suck? Post a link back to your predictions if you can.

The Braves are not a bad team. I think that they will come in at around 85 wins and if things go really well, a shot at the wild card.

We desperately needed a power bat in the OF, and I wish our front office wasn't so afraid of K's that we would ignore six seasons of 40+ homers and high OBP. But I digress.

Well, we currenty sit at 86-73, and were in the wild card with 4 left to play. I think I did fairly well on that one. I'm going to bed, but I'll look tomorrow for some epic fails (which I'm sure I have).

BTW, Anderson .275/.309/.411 13HR - WAR -0.5, Dunn .266/.397/.529 38HR - WAR 1.1 (higher if he'd play 1B full time {UZR -13.0 at 1B, -22.5 combined OF}).

IMO, if we'd had Dunn over Anderson (plus a full year of Hanson), we'd be the NL wild card team... and yes, I'm going to keep telling myself that, so shut up... ;)

Me?

I was right about the NL central at the beginning of the year :)

I don't really remember my predictions, but i do remember that I said the Rangers would do well, that the Rays wouldn't win as many as they did last year, and that Tigers would win the A.L. Central, but i don't really remember, I think i said the A's would do better as well.

player wise, i think my guesses were probably ok, i don't really remember honestly.

but i did say the Cards would do as well as they have :)

all it took was carp and waino getting 40-50 starts this year.

I was one of few who said the Rocks would make the playoffs :D

I'm willing to admit my mistakes at the start of the year, my predictions weren't good.

The Yankees, Angels, and Rockies all surprised me.
