For those of you who have been around here a long time....this might be of a tiny bit of interest....

The Classic Mogul League finally called it quits after a 9+ year run, spanning 46 seasons.

CML was a historical based league started by Brent Ingram in 2000, with a big assist from Ricci Stevens and others, and started in the baseball year 1955. Started with Mogul 2000, the historical rookies for each season were created from their actual stats. It kept on going until the premise of creating historical rookies based on their career stats got to the point where the rookies careers were still developing. So it was a good time to put it to bed.

Brent was commissioner from 1955-1972, Ric Money kept it going in 1973, and I took over from 1974-2000.

CML was blessed with a full slate of stable owners. For the majority of it's existence, we had a waiting list for ownership, and the wait was usually 2-3 seasons for an opening.

So for those of you who were active in the way back leagues of EMML, RML, and a few others that names escape me, tip your hat to the departed Classic Mogul League!

Nice run, that's one hell of an accomplishment.
