I heard it was possible to bid an FA up by yourself, so he wil sign very quickly instead of having to wait for days. How do you do this, and is this taking advantage of the system, or is it a fair tactic?

I was also wondering if players list as (IF) or Infield, instead of a position were able to play all infield positions? When you look at the players stats it wil usually list a position, but when you are looking at the lineup, it will just say (IF).

Adam, it's easy. Place your initial bid. than when you have them, place another bid for the amount you want to bid them up to. Ignore the "max" box and just place the amount and years you are willing to pay them in the respective boxes and it will jump up to that amount.

Yes, if a players position on the Defense screen is listed as IF it generally means they are suited to play multiple infield positions. Basically like a utility infielder.
