Anyone upgrade their OS this week or have upgraded to some working build of Windows 7? It is a very nice OS. I find it a lot better than any MAC OS. I don't think it is worth the upgrade over Vista. They are almost the same OS with a few minor features and underlying changes. Being able to shake a window and also using the snap feature is pretty cool. Microsoft I think hit one out of the ball park with WIN7.

XP works for me at the moment...probably will upgrade to Windows 7 at some point, though.

I got a new laptop with Vista in June and quickly upgraded to beta Windows 7, I had only been an XP-er before that.
It's been pretty good to me thus far. I've really been liking the bottom bar, which is a cross between the old XP and Mac OS.
I would recommend it to Vista-ers, and eventually to XP-ers

I'll take the plunge when I do a big system upgrade. Probably next year sometime.

Me either. I think the problems with it are extremely over-played and over-complained about.

Yep, I tend to agree.

The only thing I really hated about Vista was how you were forced to choose whether or not to allow some basic programs to run

buying a new laptop for business use, and it will have it. I played with it today on a clients computer. Not bad, it seems like a glorified XP. I wouldn't buy it just to upgrade. In a few years, a lot of things will require at least windows 7 in order to operate, but until then, i wouldn't overall suggest it.
The laptop i am getting already has it....so might as well get used to it. Some cool features though.

hah, all windows OS are "beta" when they first come out; its just easier to test it by charging people 100 bucks to test it, then patch it or dump it.
