View Full Version : Frequent crashes [Fixed 8.070]

I played a season with the demo, and bought the full version yesterday. I'm using 8.040 but about to get the 8.050 patch. The game is still plagued with frequent crashes ("windows has stopped working..."). I figured it was just the demo, but it's still happening. Is Vista the problem? Is there a workaround? Anybody else experiencing this?

(seems to always happen in the 3rd quarter of a good game, but that's just Murphy's Law. ;))

Did you uninstall the DEMO?

I guess the easiest thing is to completely uninstall, reboot and then re-install.

Of course I uninstalled the demo. And it wasn't even in the same directory. So you think it's an installation problem? If I uninstall, then reinstall, won't I have to download the game again?

Is your download 36.3 MB? If it is, then that is not the problem adn don't re-download. If its smaller then you may need to download again.

But uninstalling and re-installing is an option. Not sure if it is the solution?

I would definitely try 8.050 and see if you still have the problem. If you do, and there are any consistent steps to reproduce the crash, I'm sure I can fix it.

This has happened to me a couple of times before, but now has happened two times in a row while trying to play the next game on my schedule.

Mogfile, debug.txt and crash file (had to change the extention to txt in order for it to be accepted by the forum) are attached.

This has happened to me a couple of times before, but now has happened two times in a row while trying to play the next game on my schedule.

This happens to me all the time. But I play 2007 lol So idk how to fix it

Mogfile, debug.txt and crash file (had to change the extention to txt in order for it to be accepted by the forum) are attached.Thanks for posting the ".mog" file -- it was EXTREMELY helpful in finding and fixing the crash bug.

If you install the latest patch (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?t=199658), you should be able to continue your saved game without encountering the crash any more.
