A suggestion for the future...?

Actually there's a quesiton mixed in with this suggestion, when you send a player down to AAA, do you still pay him the same salary? How about making it where (if you do) whenever you send someone down they take a salary cut, like real life...?

But is that true for most seasoned major leaguers, earning over the minimum? I'm sure the Mets wouldn't mind sending Jeromy Burnitz to the minors, but he would still be guarenteed his $5+ million salary.
