I don't play the game,
but it doesn't look like it's for all aspects of the game, just specific things that gamers might want.

I don't see anything wrong with it

I do, as no other game does that. this is NOT the same type game as WOW or those type games. There IS a big problem with it. You are already charging me $60 for the game, + any new maps I need to pay for! now you want to tack on ANOTHER charge. its bullshlt

not saying it's a good deal, but it's supply and demand...if they can create something that gamers are willing to pay for to enjoy additionally, I don't see anything wrong with them wanting to charge for it...you don't have to buy it continue to play the gam.

I doubt Microsoft would allow them to do it. And they wouldn't be allowed to without MS' authorization.

But if MS did that, they would lose customers. And then other companies would do that and MS would lose even more customers.

I was going to ask actually. I find it interesting, surely you can charge for additional features on your own game, but the rights to the online game play and subscription charges are owned by Microsoft right? Wouldn't they find an issue with that?

Yep. Microsoft owns the rights to all Xbox Live online play. Even money for DLC goes to them and not directly to the creator.

you will tho. the online is why people play the game,

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but the online gameplay will still be free, but to access other special items, you would have to buy them there.

the only thing they can charge is online play. there is nothing else to the game. Any update to the game are for online multiplayer, maps, if they had gun upgrades, things like that
