Accurate Historical Rosters

Hey guys I just created a file called 2008-rosters.csv and it works when I start a new game in 2008. So for all those years where the rosters aren't exactly right, like when a player was drafted by one team but made his debut for another I think we can go back and make roster files for each year. Has anyone done this yet?

Are you talking about putting the players on the team they were drafted by, or making sure that the players begin with the team that they made their debut with?

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. How is it coming along?

The Master is at work so, with all the snow, I haven't been able to add to it during the past week; normally I average two to three seasons per week. I've done 1901 - '57 so far, plus the file in the linked thread.

Clay is trying to incorporate as much data from the Master as possible for release day. Historic drafts, similar to Football Mogul 2010, might not be in at release due to the code needing to be reworked for prospects younger than 18. The option to have prospects on the team that drafted them should make it in, though.

I'm currently on debuts for 1967 and several guys each season have already been done for the other file.
