I started the season with two punters. I decided to put one of the punters up for trade by going to the Trading Block. When I selected trade for Cash, every team made an offer of $0.
This happened on Coach, Manager and Mogul level. On Fan level, the same thing happened but three teams offered $1M.
On a semi-related note, I couldn't find a way to change difficulty level within the game. I could only do it when starting a game but not later. I know you could do this in Baseball Mogul but I didn't see it anywhere here
