This is a two part question.
The first part, you need to answer in the poll what is your favorite team.
And then in the post section, post what you would offer to land Pujols and Mauer in a trade from your team.
Try your best.
If you are a Cardinals or a Twins fan, just do one.
Here is my offer for Mauer:
All hypothetical, but let's see what kinds of packages people put up.
Since I am a Cardinals fan, and if I wanted Mauer....
I would offer Molina (replacement Catcher) 3.5 WAR
Ludwick 1.9 WAR
Kyle McClellan 0.3 WAR
Jamie Garcia pitching prospect and
Lance Lynn other pitching prospect
To land Mauer.
Would that get the deal done? No, Minnesota would have to be insane.
The Cardinals don't really have the farm system to land Mauer, and they don't really have the pieces to offer what the Twins would need to trade for him.
Offer whatever you think would be the best deal.

I will trade Brian Fuentes for Joe Mauer. Will it get the deal done? Hell no, I just ****ing want to get rid of Brian Fuentes.

I am a Sox fan mainly.
For Mauer, I would trade Kevin Youkillis. (Vmart moves to 1st). I would also throw in Casey Kelly (top SP/SS prospect), another top-level prospect, and some catching depth. Whatever we have as potential catchers - Dusty Brown? I dunno. Youk might get it done, but I'd hate to see him go, and with V-mart its unnecessary. Twins probably wouldn't go for it - finding productive 1B is easier than productive C.
For Pujols, I would do the same basic package - Youk, an MVP candidate offensively and very strong defensive 1B, and two top level prospects to help even the scales. Since Youk could play 3rd and help out the Cards more there, I would include a top 1B guy - Mike Lowell is an option right now, but more likely Lars Anderson. Then Casey Kelly, and Reddick/Westmoreland as our top prospects. Cards would prolly want more, a Lester/Buchholz pitcher prolly. Not sure I would cave.

Josh thole
Ike davis
Fmart
brad holt
another spec
for either of them
is that our whole farm: YES will it get it done: NO

My team is small market too, so if the Twins can't afford to keep Mauer with a home town discount, I don't see how we'd have a shot at signing him long term. Also wouldn't be worth it trade for Pujols
I guess the best the Brewers can offer either team would be MichelleWie (http://www.sportsmogul.com/vbulletin2/member.php?u=8264)

With F-Mart, I would certainly consider that.

Interesting...
I don't think I would trade for either, just because it would require too many prospects for both, and for Mauer, we have McCann already. It would take a minimum of one of Hanson, Jurrjens, or Heyward plus, and I simply prefer to wait and see if I can get him as a FA in 2 years.
So my offer would be a lowball offer for Pujols of:
Freddy Freeman
Kris Medlen
Randall Delgado
Zeke Spruill
Cardinals laugh and hang up the phone.

Freeman would be a good third best player in a trade :)
I would probably want Hanson, Jair and Freeman....Delgado seems promising, and I would probably choose him as the fourth.
It's hard to tell if I am over rating what I would want for Mauer/Pujols or not.

No way you get Hanson and Jurrjens.
My competitive offer would be:
Jurrjens
Freeman
Medlen
Delgado
Medlen has some promise a mid rotation guy.

I would expect Heyward and one of Jurjens or Hanson and probably Freeman if I was honestly going to move Pujols.
And then players like Medlen or Delgado to round it out.

I would trade at least 2-3 spects and one backup catcher.

I, too, think any trade for Mauer or Pujols would have to contain a backup catcher

I think they would be better off just calling up Wilson Ramos.

As far as I can tell, these 2 are effectively untradeable. No team is going to give up what it would take to appease the fan base in St Louis or Minnesota.
