Brings back memories of when my father got a letter saying that since I had missed seven classes in computer lab, that I was going to be failed in that class. My father was not so eloquent, but when they told him it was just a formality and did not mean anything since I was getting an A in the class. Oh boy! They found out that he made up for his lack of eloquence with persuasiveness and intimidation. Next day, all teachers sent a letter explaining that no correspondence between the school and my father would happen again without it first crossing the principal's desk. Oh, the olden days... The next year, something similar happened and 2 teachers tried to get me to go to the office to calm him down, I just told them it was their problem, not mine, and leave me alone so I could read Les Misérables. Something I found ironic after the fact.
