free agent annoying bug

for the 2nd season in a row, julio zeleta (C) has not signed with me when his status bar has indicated that he will. He is the only player that has done this to me, and he has done it twice. I can't turn around and sign him now out of the free agent pool because he wants too much money.

To ensure that a player will sign with you, be sure to give him a few pts more than his asking price. Also, if you wait until the last sim before free agency ends to fill up a bar to try to save money, often you will not get the player if it is too far off his original asking price. I've had this happen several times to me. Personally, I like this feature as it prevents people from being overly cheap, and getting bargains that are too outlandish.

Yes, but if the bar fills up, that is supposed to mean that a deal has been struck. Right?

exactly - and his bar was full and i coincidentally did give him a couple more points than he was asking for
