Read about it earlier, how can you suspend a VP?

The same way you can suspend a teacher or cop or anyone from their job, time away without pay. I am surprised a bit that it is not a case of being assaulted in one's work place by a fellow employee, if that happened at my office and the company didn't take any action against the agrrossor you can bet your azz there'd be a lawsuit filed 99% of the time.

This is an internal affair, and the Bulls can handle it however they want. If they miss the playoffs, it won't shock me if both Del Negro and Paxson are fired. If they make the playoffs, all will probably be forgotten.

he can still be suspended, and should be by the bulls. quickest way to put it to bed...say he's implementing a self-imposed suspension upon himself. his salary for the next two weeks will be put to a certain charity and he will engage in some type of counseling or anger management. Make a claim that Vinny and he have resolved differences, Vinny say the same and thats all we're going to speak on the matter. Done.

internal, it's no one elses businesses, it needs to remain inside the organization, if disciplinary measures need to be taken, then they should come from the team, not anyone else.

while i agree in most businesses this would be an internal matter....in professional sports i see the lines blurred a bit. Its already been made a public matter. they still can choose to keep it indoors but I just think that makes matters worse.

I don't think it's the NBA's place to get involved though.

oh not the NBA, i agree. the bulls would be the one doing the PR damage control here. internally, but with some public message.

I agree 100% with this, and would add that that way it sends the message to everyone that physical violence is unacceptable, remember Latrell Sprewell anyone?? While he was a player that attacked (choked if I remember correctly) a coach his team swiftly dealt with him. I am just saying that I would be afraid of sending the wrong message to players if nothing was done at all.

Spewell tried to strangle his coach. Paxson jabbed his finger in the coach's chest. A big difference. Frankly, I don't see that what Paxson did is a big deal.

maybe, if I were the owner it would depend on a combination of things, one of which would be how do the players respond to what he is trying to teach them, two where are we in our team plan, three do I think that he can make them team better.

He's not a very good coach, imo. That team is a lot better then where they sit right now. Rose, Hinrich, and Noah are fantastic players and Noah has really come into his own this season.
The GM should also be fired for trading Tyrus Thomas and Tim Salmons to teams where they made gigantic impacts and may help shape the playoffs. But hey, he's playing to sign a max contract this off-season either D-Wade or Bosh.
The Bulls talent level is equal to the Heats imo. They should at least be fighting for the 5 seed, not fighting to make the playoffs.
Of course, I also see Mike Brown in Cleveland as a bad coach so obviously coaching doesn't hurt teams that much if it's bad.

Not saying that it was a good thing, or that it should be encouraged, just that it wasn't that serious of an incident (going by what I read).

No coach can ruin a player as good as lebron...

Brown can try to ruin LeBron's chances of winning a title though.
I think I could draw up better plays then Mike Brown. Awful final 2 minutes coach. Just awful. He drew up a play where ANDERSON VARAJAO was the second option for the final shot. ANDERSON VARAJAO.

Hell, the GM should be fired for signing a retired baseball player in the first place.
Also, you had a typo.
