View Full Version : Does putting a star into AAA or into a relief position make him worse?

Do you think this would affect his skills? I have Jon Garland who is having a good career in middle relief. My rotation is that good. Do you think this will effect him in the long run?

Is moving an AAA batter onto the bench a good idea? If you have a good prospect is itgood to give him a year on the bench before you put him onto your lineup?

I would say that it is not because they will not get much playing time and when players dont play they will not improve, if anything they may get lower grades after that season. The more playing time for batters the better they become in most cases. As for pitching I am not to sure.

It is definitely a bad idea to put a prospect on the bench. AAA is the best place for them to develop.
