Spending on the Farm

Does the money that goes to the farm system affect both the quality of players you get and their development? Or will a certain guy develop the same no matter what rank you are.

In other words, if I keep my Farm System ranked really high for a year and then drop it, will the guys that I got with the high ranking turn out to be stars, or will they not develop because of a lowly rank?

The money you spend on farm system affects:
1. Quality of rookies you receive
2. Quantity of rookies you receive
3. How well your AAA players develop

Remember, a team ranked 1st with a record of 62-100 would receive better rookies than a team ranked 1st with a record of 100-62.

So, if you keep your farm spending high, your rookies will develop better and quicker. If you drop your spending, and keep your rookies you got with the high ranking in the minors for a while after you drop your spending, they will improve, but not necessarily as well as they would if you spent more on farm spending.
