Two outs, runner on 2nd, groundball through the hole between short and third, leftfielder has an arm rating of "74", runner on 2nd has a speed rating of "93", base coach gave me a 30% chance of scoring on the play.

Could be all sorts of things. The grounder to left field could have been in front of the runner so he had to slow down, meaning that he was not as far along the baseline when the left fielder got the ball.

Could've just been a hard hit ball?

You don't slow down with two outs. Seriously guys, a groundball through the hole with two outs, a speedy runner on 2nd and a left fielder with an arm like Johnny Damon in his prime and you think it is reasonable to only have a 30% chance of scoring? I would argue that it should be closer to 100% than 30%. Now maybe if it was a hard line drive that one-hops the left fielder in Fenway I could see it, but not here. I have to think that hits of this nature with two outs score even the slowest of runners more than 50% of the time, nevermind a runner with Ellsbury like speed.
You slow down so you don't run into the ball and make a stupid out.
You don't just put your head down and run, unless you're a horrible baserunner.

Yeah like that game with the red soxs and baltimore, there was 2 outs man on 3rd and 2nd, a ground ball through the hole, the ss got it but logically the guy on 2nd didnt go straight to third which probably would have been an easy out.

To be that close to a ball hit between the third baseman and the shortstop that you'd need to slow down would mean that you could score on just about any arm since the ball is travelling so slow and you are already so close to third that scoring would be trivial.

I don't think the game gives enough consideration to the two out situation, if it even considers it at all.
