Just wondering what you guys think of this. I've read a few people claiming that this is a scam, but when I actually looked into why they are complaining, I see that they didn't fulfill the terms of the "free" offer (you have to complete 13 offers, some of which cost money). I'm fully aware that the laptop isn't free, but some kind of "gift" for completing the offers.

I have done these types of things before and have actually received the "prize" for signing up (I greatly added to my CD and DVD collection, I believe). I understand that I may be spending some money, but some of the offers are things I might WANT to spend money on (Netflix, magazines, ect) so it may turn out worth it.

What do you guys think? Would it be worth spending money on offers that I might would like anyway to try and get this laptop? I mean, this commercial was on the radio, so the FCC would be all over this company if they didn't follow through with the offer if you fulfilled all the terms and offers, right?

The steps end up costing too much. I went through it once in a late-night haze when I was fiending for a new laptop bad.

I stopped myself after only spending $20, but now I have useless Learn Spanish CDs that weren't any good. Choosing from 3 things you don't want, all $200 each, in the hopes of proceeding to the next $400 thing you don't want, is not the way to buy a $300 laptop.

If you're desperate for a laptop and can afford to spend $300, visit Craigslist.
