Free Agent Issues

Please bear with me if you have brought this up before -- this is my first post...

The more I play, the more I am convinced that there should be some kind of competition with signing free agents. It has become easier and easier (even on challenging levels) to load up with the high dollar guys and make a super bowl run. I would like to suggest some kind of auction system (similar to what the Madden series does), to balance out the power that we have.

Also, really good players make a habit of leaving their teams (even if they are obviously an asset to the team they are on) and join the free agent pool. This is a somewhat favorable part of the game, but can be frustrating when you are gearing up for a big game against a team and all of the sudden their star quarterback leaves them in shambles. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but if so it should probably be fixed.

Yeah, i think there should be the option of a player on your team not wanting to resign with your team. Them saying, i'm not interested, i know it might be hard to put into the game, but still...it would be a great feature.
