In playing FM2011 I've had running backs fumble the ball and the defense recovers. However, I have not seen the following:

1. A fumble during a kick or punt return?
2. A wide Receiver fumbling after a catch?
3. A QB fumbling on a sack?
4. The offense recover the fumble?

Has anyone experienced the above scenarios or is it just plain missing from the game?

lol. I think I should post this in the Baseball Mogul forum section just to get a response? Of course the response will be "You posted this in the wrong forum!" but at least I would get a response. :) Is anyone playing this game? It's Football season right??

I'm playing the game and the answer to your question is no, I have not seen a fumble in any of the circumstances listed. In fact, I posted a question regarding the amount of fumbles a couple of weeks ago. I've played three full seasons (played out every game) and usually see my RB has 1 fumble the entire year and no one else has any. The defense usually forces about 3-5 fumbles a year. Both of those are well below the real life NFL average.

One additional area where I saw a fumble was in the punt formation with the direct snap running play. Don't recall who ran with the ball but there was a fumble.

On the flip side, there seem to be plenty of interceptions so the overall TOs mask the fact that there are too few fumbles.

There is a fumble stat. Average fumbles forced for 2003 was 0.7 and Ricky Williams led the way with 12 fumbles Antowain Smith was 2nd with 9. Those seem like reasonable stats to low stats. However, the TO's never happen on special teams unless there is a fake.

Thanks for the reply. It appears to be just you and me in this FM forum.

My experience with fumbling is about the same as yours, Guys...can't recall many....

...after having written that, just noticed two fumbles in the current Trolls game...a perusal of the games in the Football Dynasty thread - which includes two seasons-worth of Trolls recaps - might give you some idea, of the occurrence
