Hi,

I like to use PBP.

I'm wondering if anyone here did PBP player images with specific team uniform. At least one person did because I remember have seen my batter during a game as Cardinals. I was using a downloaded skin from the forum. It could be fun to have my players during PBP using the right uniform.

I don't know if BM can handle it correctly. I think that the way BM works it may work playing home but not away or vice versa (need to change picture files). Maybe should I retry the skin mentionned above and see?

Well, the teams I usually play with are the Jays and the Dodgers.

Anyone have experience with PBP player images?

Note that I play with BM 2011 v13.08.

Ask JWoods (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?153299-Hi-res-portrait-pictures-with-changed-uniforms).

Hi Jeff,

I checked the thread you gave me. This is not exactly what I am talking about here. What I mean is the pictures of players for the PBP mode of BM (the pitcher, batter, etc.). The pictures used to create the "animation" when playing a baseball game in PBP mode. In fact, the files located in the <skin>\News\PBP folder (by example, the file b1.png or p1.png).

And if you only direct me to JWoods, I'll ask the question to this person directly then.

Thank you
Jonathan

There is no way to have team-correct animation colors at this time, sorry. A few suggestions for this have been made since the animation first appeared but it's pretty low on the "to be added" list.

Ok. I know that it's a Nice-to-Have feature. In other words, this is a Nice-to-Have feature for a text-based sim game. I agree that the bugs and other missing things are more important.

I am a fan of those kind of game but at the same time I like those little detail that make it a complete and perfect experience. So I am looking forward for it in the future.
